Sometimes as an antidote to fear of death, I eat the stars*
Fragments of photographic paper buried into my garden reveal the agency of porous roots to transcend boundaries and limits, to merge with matter in a symbiotic dance that melts away differences and individualities. The disparate parts of these images are sewn together like a tapestry; the fragments are pieced together not with the intention of finding an original image but of composing new possible worlds.
